Board of Directors

The Anchor Bay Community Foundation Board of Directors includes members of the community from diverse backgrounds—civic and community leaders, activists, parents, educators and business people. All are volunteers who have also served their community through their schools, committees, churches, and now serve on the Anchor Bay Community Foundation Board to create a dialogue on issues affecting the Anchor Bay area.

Biography

2016 – current (Chesterfield) Eric was elected Chairman in 2025 and is a standing member of the Investment/Finance Committee. He is a licensed attorney and CFO and Treasurer of Pierson-Gibbs Homes, Inc., and Vice President and Owner of Quality Lumber and Building Wholesalers. He is a member and past-president of the Mount Clemens Rotary Club. He received his BBA from Western Michigan University and MBA and JD from University of Detroit Mercy. Eric and his wife Melissa have three sons attending Anchor Bay schools.

2024 – current – (Chesterfield) Diane is currently serving as Vice Chairman and retired as a math teacher in 2024. Her passion for education and service led to an elected position on the Anchor Bay School Board as trustee, secretary, and vice president from 2012 through 2018. She brings experience in board service, governance, education, and strategic planning to the Foundation. Diane is in the planning stages of establishing an endowed scholarship: Diane Caldwell Future Educators Scholarship. She and her husband have a son and a daughter who received their education at Anchor Bay schools.

2024 – current – (New Baltimore) Lisa is the Project Manager of Global Telcom Solutions. As a new board member, Lisa brings expertise in administration, social media, website and computer expertise, and marketing/sales to her committee work. Lisa has a son and daughter who are recent Anchor Bay graduates.

2014 – current (New Baltimore) Kevin serves as Chairman of the Finance/Investment Committee and has been Treasurer since 2015.   He founded the WFG Financial Advisors in 2004 where he specializes in assisting individuals and businesses achieve their financial goals and objectives through planning and investment management. He is a 6th generation New Baltimore resident, Anchor Bay High School graduate and a proud Michigan State University Spartan Alumni. Kevin and his wife Julie, also an Anchor Bay graduate, have two daughters.

2022 – current (New Baltimore) Julie serves as the Director of Community Relations.   She is a volunteer for AYSO Soccer Region 195 and the Warming Center at St. Peter Catholic Church in Mt. Clemens.  She is a graduate of Anchor Bay High School and Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management.  She enjoys watching her daughters in their various sports.  Julie and her husband, Kevin, live in New Baltimore with their 2 daughters.

Biography

1998 -current. (Rochester) Formerly of Chesterfield and New Baltimore, Lynne’s position as marketing director at Macomb Center for the Performing Arts led to volunteering for the Foundation before serving on the Board. Her community work in New Baltimore included Recycle New Baltimore Committee and Citizens Advisory. Previous employment was at the Voice Newspaper and Stahl’s Bakery and volunteering for programs at Anchor Bay schools while her sons attended. Family and friends started the Musilli & Hoover Small Grants Fund for Literacy, providing assistance for library, tutoring and books.

2006 – current (Chesterfield) Lois’s business acumen: licensed builder, owner of a do-it-yourself home building company and Quality Lumber and Building Wholesalers. She operates L&D Properties and Pie Six LLC, and is a partner in House Liquidators, LLC. Lois and Dick Pierson have a Mount Clemens Rotarian Scholarship and two named scholarships with ABCF: The Lois & Dick Pierson Trade School & STEM Scholarship and the Pierson Family Young Men’s Education Scholarship. Lois has four sons.

1999 – current. (Chesterfield) Leonard received his BA from Eastern Michigan University, his MA from Central Michigan University and MSA Education Specialist from Saginaw Valley State. He worked for Anchor Bay schools as executive director/business before his position as Superintendent of the District, from which he retired in 2020 after serving for twenty years. He served as Chairman of the ABCF Board from 2011 to 2018 and is a long-standing Investment/Finance Committee member. Currently retired, he and his wife Paulette have raised four children who all attended Anchor Bay schools.

2019 – current (New Baltimore) Mark is a graduate of Lakeshore High School in St. Clair Shores and has an Associate Degree from Oakland Community College. He has been a business owner since 2002 and operates Camille’s on the Green. His community involvement is as a member and past-president of the Anchor Bay Chamber of Commerce, Treasurer of the New Baltimore DDA and the New Baltimore Business Association, New Baltimore Citizen of the Year, Music by the Bay, and as the recognized Goodwill Ambassador for New Baltimore. He and his wife Camille are the parents of two daughters.

2019 – current (Chesterfield) Kristie is a realtor associate with Remax First Real Estate. She has served on the ABCF scholarship selection committee and the Barbara Richards Magic Wand Fund. She is a member of the Anchor Bay Chamber of Commerce. She and her husband Mark have a son and a daughter.

2023 -current – (Chesterfield) John is an Anchor Bay High School graduate. He attended Oakland University with a BA in history and is an attorney/partner with Warner Norcross and Judd LLP.  John is a member of the Anchor Bay Chamber of Commerce. He serves on the Investment/Finance Committee and Facebook administration. John and his wife Jennifer, also an AB grad, have two daughters.

2016 – current (Chesterfield) Rick previously served Foundation Chairman and is President of the Macomb County Insurance Agents. Rick was introduced to insurance through Macomb County Community College. He was in the business for 36 years until 2024. He administers the Independent Insurance Agents of Macomb County Business Scholarship. Rick was able to negotiate funding from donor Carlos Alvarez and the Impetus Foundation to increase the annual awards for all of the ABCF named scholarships. Since Mr. Alvarez’ death, Rick hopes to use some of the initial funding to implement a Study Abroad Program for Anchor Bay students. Rick and his wife Mary Jo are the parents of three daughters.

2024 – current – (New Baltimore) Karen is the President of Campbell & Shaw Steel, Inc. She brings expertise in accounting, fundraising, human resources, operations, and public relations to the Foundation board. Karen is an active member of various charitable organizations. Her daughter and son are Anchor Bay graduates.
